This article contains the most up to date information we have at 19/04/2024The Scheme was (re)launched on 15th April 2024 by <a href="https://www.gov.mt/en/Government/DOI/Government%20Gazette/Government%20Notices/Pages/2024/04/GovNotices1204.aspx">Government Notice 484</a>In the new scheme regulated by REWS the documentation often refers to Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems however please be assured that the scheme also is available for Microfiltration and Ultrafiltration devices such as EcoPro and EcoPro Compact.The REWS Application Guidelines can be&#xA0;<a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0274/7645/9609/files/Call_2024Reverse_Osmosis_Grant_on_the_Purchase_of_Water_Purifying_Equipment_-Guidelines.pdf?v=1713512889">downloaded here</a>&#xA0;or you can access the details at&#xA0;<a href="https://www.rews.org.mt/#/en/sdgr/596-2024-reverse-osmosis-ro-scheme-purchase-of-water-purifying-equipment">REWS website</a>:&#xA0;EcoPro and EcoPro Compact are eligible for a government grant in Malta.The Government of Malta currently have a scheme which will reimburse you 40% of the cost of your TAPP Water Filter and any fitting cost.TAPP EcoPro, EcoPro Compact &amp; Ultrafiltration are all eligible for :&#xA0;<h3 id="isPasted"><a href="https://tappwater.mt/blogs/news/new-1m-in-malta-government-grants-to-support-the-adoption-of-water-purification-systems-minister-dalli">Grant A: Be Water Smart: Water Guard</a></h3>The application is done online and an eID is required for this and it takes up to 5 weeks for your application to be considered by REWS.If your application is refused you may appeal the decision. If you do not receive a reply this can be considered as a refusal and you may appeal.If you purchased from a TAPP Water Retail Partner - they will provide a Fiscal Receipt that includes their VAT Number and a description of the product.
